Unusual early Victorian mahogany campaign chest on turned legs. With the second drawer open, the top which is partially hinged opens to allow the top drawer to drop down within the drawer beneath to create a flush surface. Within the opening of the top drawer is charmingly a small row of brass hooks. Comes in two parts. Beautiful colour and good condition. Original handles and brammer style locks. England, C. 1830.
